Julie Christine Round - Born in Slough, Berks in 1942.
A trained teacher, Julie has worked in London, County Durham, Hampshire and Kent before retiring,
with her husband, to Worthing in Sussex.
From 1985 to 1989, she was the Liberal Alliance
County Councillor for Gillingham North East.
For some years she specialised in working
with dyslexic pupils in Bromley.
Charity Support
Since living in Sussex she has supported various charities with Independent Order of Foresters, notably the local Alzheimer’s Society and Ferring Country Centre.
News
The final book of the trilogy, "The Third Lane," was published in January 2011 and Julie is now giving talks to local groups about her life and works and the problems of self publishing. "Lane's End," is now available as an audiobook and Oldstick Books will be producing a nostalgic poetry book before the end of the year.
